Gone with the Fire...

Well, Its been two weeks since I wrote my last blog and many things happen in these two weeks.
Lets first look at the National/international events before going to my personal errands...

1. Pakistan as usual denying everything related to it's link with whatever happened in Mumbai on 26/11. (I still don't understand the Politics, on one side they want to do it and on the other hand they don't want to accept. How come they can deny the link of a person with his motherland. Apart from terrorism, this is serious violation of moral right of a person who can't call his mother as mother. Of course, they have done the same thing in the past during Kargil.) Apart from all that happened, I am curious when will India gain the status of Sovereign country, not on the paper but in real world. When will we stop going to US daddy crying and complaining about what Pakistan has done, and try to convince him first which is very obvious and known to every living being in south Asia.

2. India continues to win matches, which is signal of a big change. I am not a cricket analyst or a great fan (give me option between Cricket match and Hollywood movie, I'll choose the later one), but still this won't stop me to sense a change in the attitude of the team and their appetite to win. I don't know it is really a change made by Mahi or Kirsten, or this change is with all the Indians. I used to get surprised when India used to win 2-3 matches in a row, but now even winning an entire series doesn't look un-obvious.

3. Satyam - Maytas story. Since I am an employee of Satyam, this is very close to my heart. What had happened was really unfortunate (for Satyam and investors both). Satyam was not really doing good as in Public image (reasons are delayed joining of new employees, lay-offs of existing employees and many other small incidents, and over it one of India's leading newspaper always willing tp put it on the front as long as it's negative) and it is really difficult for me to understand that Satyam's top management is not aware of this. With my limited understanding, if I look in to this acquisition, I can't find anything wrong (though SEBI's analysis has still yet to come). Board was analysing this possibility from last three month and it doesn't require all shareholder's approval (legally not ideally). The very reason of acquiring Maytas was also logical, Infrastructure was the basic business of the Satyam and before getting in to IT, they were in that. Also, in this market turmoil, it's good to have a cushion, that too if the cushion comes from completely un-related industry. As long as the concern  is over investor's money which was going for the Maytas acquisition (which has more than 30% shares from Raju's family),  I think this is just a over-reaction. Satyam family knows business tactics very well, and they know how to save Investor's money and Business both, and if you see the Maytas current projects in hand, you will never doubt about money back. May be its a wrong timing or hype created by media, I am sure Satyam (Raju) will overcome this difficult time and very soon you will receive some good news from Our Front.

Oopppsssss..!!!! These National/International stories really take hell of time (and space). Well, As this article has gone quite a length, lets keep my Personal news for some other time, and anyway, those are stupid, boring, silly and no good for others.
